Hello PMGC members, it’s the dog days of summer and August has brought us some fantastic weather. With COVID restrictions in the rearview mirror we are happy to tell you that the PMGC Anual Club Shoot and Dinner is a go this year. August 20th and 21st is the weekend you have to set aside for this once a year do not miss event, here’s why:
Saturday August 20th – 09:00 – 5:00pm (shooting ends)
– Doubles and Wobble
– $15.00 per event
– Lunch by donation
– Toonie and Buddy shoot bring a two-shot hotgun (time permitting)
Sunday August 21st – 10:00 – 4:00pm (shooting ends)
– Singles – Handicap
– $15.00 per event
– Lunch by donation
– Toonie and Buddy shoot bring a two-shot shotgun (time permitting)
– Prizes and Awards
– BBQ Salmon/Steak dinner (4:30ish)
The club shoot is specifically designed for ALL levels of shooters and is the perfect time to try a little “not-so-competative” competitive shooting. The only thing better than running 25 straight is doing it at your home club and winning bragging rights for the rest of the year. This is the only shoot when the PMGC DOES NOT allow guests to participate.
Do your children (or pets) give you “the look” as you carry your gun out the door Sunday mornings? Does your significant-other constantly ask you: “Are you going to the club agaaaaaain? What do you do there all day? Well now is the time to show them the answer to those nagging questions and bring them to the Sunday BBQ dinner. Once they see the club first hand, they just might want to start shooting themselves. The BBQ dinner is FREE to immediate family members! Based on availability, extended family can attend at a nominal charge.
In order to ensure everyone has something to eat we need to know the number of people attending the Sunday BBQ so you MUST confirm your attendance including the number of individuals in your family by August 17th. There will be a sign-up sheet at the office or you can call the office 604-460-5611 when we are open or email info@pittmeadowsgunclub.com.
