August 15th and 16th we held our annual Members Trophy Shoot and the turnout was great! We had over 40 competitors and managed some excellent results in the scorching conditions.
Matteo Sekela managed to take out high overall, with a score of 141/150 over the 3 events, with Jamie White taking runner up.
His brother Luca Sekela took out the singles award and Tony Killian won the handicap.
After a shootout between Dan Otway, Terry Ward and Paul Zuccarello a winner for the doubles award was decided. Terry missed a few early targets which made it difficult to recover. Paul and Dan were neck and neck until Dan missed his second last target. Paul was up next and missed the pair, blowing his shot! Dan Otway left with the doubles award.
Lisa Otway clinched the High Lady award in singles and handicap with a few great scores. Her first shot at handicap distance!
Next we had our prize shoot from long distance. Whilst Tony did win the handicap event, it was his partner Ronny Zuccarello who really carried their team from long range. Ronny couldn’t miss, breaking every target he shot at. Incredible shooting display to take out the Founder’s Cup!
All round a great day was had by all. Thanks to anyone who helped out on the days. We wouldn’t be able to host such great events without the help of our volunteers.
